Whaley Construction LLC is in search of an Experienced Grading Foreman to join our team, preferably with TDOT experience. If you are interested, PLEASE APPLY IN PERSON AT 3909 SNYDER RD IN KODAK. The right candidate will supervise field operations for Earthwork/Roadway/Grading projects and will directly supervise and coordinate activities of grading crew and may also engage in the trade work of the employees being supervised. Pay is based on experience and benefits after 90 days.

Key Duties: Directly supervises grading crew.

Reports on work to Superintendent.
Experienced on all types of heavy equipment for dirt and site projects.
Knowledgeable in the areas of TDOT roadway projects and dirt work, including excavation, grade work, utilities, surveying and final excavating work.
Reads, understands, and interprets drawings and specifications.
Reports daily on digital project management software about time and material.
Monitors the implementation of safety orientations, provides coaching for improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Whaley Construction is looking to add an EXPERIENCED MECHANIC to our team. Must have own tools. We offer excellent pay and benefits after 90 days.

Job Responsibilities

Use different tools and equipment, such as pressure gauges, pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, screwdrivers, hoists and jacks, to repair equipment while constantly utilizing safety precautions
Diagnose malfunctions in defective equipment by inspecting and testing using devices such as motor analyzers, handheld computers and chassis charts to determine how to address problems
Test drive vehicles to ensure they are running properly and to find issues to determine what the solution will be
Replace parts, valves, bearings and gears as needed and repair vehicle cooling and heating systems
Ensure parts conform to factory specifications by inspecting and verifying clearances and dimensions
